Organic Soup Kitchen has been named a recipient of Deckers Brands’ 12 Days of Giving. Deckers will donate 40% of all sales at the Deckers Brand Showcase to Organic Soup Kitchen on Wednesday, December 22rd. The proceeds will directly support Organic Soup Kitchen’s mission to provide nutrition and food security to cancer patients, chronically ill and low income community members. The Deckers Brand Showcase features Deckers Brand products, including UGG©, Teva©, Sanuk©, HOKA ONEONE©, AND DXLab. The store is located at 6601 Hollister Avenue in Goleta and will be open on December 22nd from 11-5:30pm.

“We are honored to be selected to participate in Decker’s 12 Days of Giving,” says Andrea Slaby, Chief Operating Officer at Organic Soup Kitchen. “We appreciate the commitment and investment Deckers makes in our community, and are grateful for the holiday shoppers who will help us support those most in need.”

Decker’s 12 Days of Giving is an annual tradition the company launched in 2014 to support the mission of various non profit organizations in the Santa Barbara community. Each day for the 12 days leading up to Christmas Eve, a different non-profit receives a portion of sales at the Deckers Brand Showcase store in Goleta. “Organic Soup Kitchen has been a safety net for so many in our community. We are proud to select them as one of our 12 Days of Giving beneficiaries this year,” states Michelle Apodaca, Director, Deckers Gives. For more information, visit www.deckers.com

When someone is going through chemotherapy, they need healthy and nourishing food more than anything, but most of the time they don’t have the physical and mental energy to get up and do it for themselves. Organic Soup Kitchen does it for them with so much love and care! They work tirelessly in rain or shine to make sure that all their clients get their nutritious soup on time. I feel so blessed and privileged to be a small part of this gem of an organization in our community! I joined hands with them a few years back and I am happy to say that I am here to stay and support this wonderful organization in the years to come!
